Java Development on the iPhone

Seems that Apple aside people are starting to find way to get java applications to run on the iPhone from the cheap and cheerful to the rather more high end products from people like Metismo. (Nice chaps, met them at JavaOne; but licenses were 10ks UKP but not for people just playing).

Perhaps I just need to bite the bullet and learn Objective-C...

Hi Gerard,

i am using the your aspectj plugin
for developer 10.1.3...

it seems that the bundled
aspectj compiler/jar have bug that it will remove all the annotations on the classes being weaved....

simply replacing the bundled aspectj jars, in the extension folder, don't work (compilation error)...

could you please update your plugin?

thank you.

Hi,

I haven't worked on this for some time; but I know that an updated version of 11 with the 1.6 Aspectj libraries is checked into the project. You would need to build it yourself.

Or you can just try replacing the aspectj libraries with more recent ones, you will probably find this works.
